Cincinnati State — Clifton

Cincinnati State’s Clifton campus occupies the former Courter Technical High School site at 3520 Central Parkway, northwest of downtown. It is the college’s main address and the place where most courses, enrollment services, the library and student support are concentrated. The institution began here in 1969 with a small technical program; today its academic divisions list more than 170 degree and certificate options.

Clifton’s academic character is hands-on. The Midwest Culinary Institute trains cooks and hospitality professionals in teaching kitchens and public-facing food venues. The Health Professions Building, Advanced Technology and Learning Center, engineering labs and horticulture spaces support programs that need equipment and practice. Dining, advising, tutoring, library services and student organizations are also on campus.

The college describes Clifton as a commuter campus served by several major bus lines. Parking is paid: $5 per day or $75 per semester for parking privileges. Students can use the Fitness Center and gym during designated hours with a SurgeCard; the college also lists a game room, study lounges and recreation areas.
