About Chicago Fire Youth Soccer Club
Chicago Fire Youth Soccer Club is the community affiliate distinct from the professional club’s fully funded Academy. It offers several levels for children and teenagers: Sparks for first-time players, 8U–10U pre-travel, Select, Premier travel and MLS NEXT. The 2026–27 schedule describes different expectations for training, competition and travel at each level. Sparks is the clearest starting point for a young child; older players may need to compare roster commitment, number of practices and whether the team enters league or tournament play before choosing a track.
The club’s current program page offers payment plans, sibling and season-ticket discounts, and financial aid through Sprocket. It does not give one simple tuition figure for every player because dues vary by program and team. It expressly says uniforms, player travel, tournament fees and additional league registrations are not included; 2026–27 is also a new uniform cycle. Ask for the player’s actual team budget, what the monthly plan covers and which travel items are likely before accepting a spot. Aid applications are assessed individually and do not guarantee a particular award.
The Fire Pitch at 3626 North Talman Avenue is the club’s home base for introductory Sparks and pre-travel programs. Chicago Fire FC describes it as a year-round community soccer facility with two full-size outdoor fields and five indoor winter pitches under a dome, plus a clubhouse. The site has a separate tavern and event spaces, but the public listing and comments relate to the complex as a venue; they should not be read as a review of every youth coach. The club’s own listing has a modest volume of comments; one parent describes good practice space, while the page is too small a sample to establish a consistent coaching pattern.
The program works best for families ready to match a child’s interest with the right degree of structure. A new player can start with age-appropriate Sparks; a travel player should compare Select, Premier and MLS NEXT time commitments. Practices may take place at the Fire Pitch or at locations assigned by the team. Review the 2026–27 program grid and aid instructions before enrolling, and confirm the roster, uniform package and total season charges directly with the club.
Affiliated club serving ages 6–19 through Sparks, pre-travel, Select, Premier and MLS NEXT pathways. 2026–27 financial aid and installment plans are available; uniforms, travel, tournament and extra-league costs may be additional.
