About TradeDay
TradeDay, funding futures traders since 2020
TradeDay is a proprietary trading firm (prop trading) specializing in futures. Founded in 2020, it funds traders worldwide through a professional evaluation model that provides access to funded simulated accounts and, subsequently, live capital. The company states it has surpassed $10 million in verified payouts and has thousands of funded traders, a community of more than 15,000 traders, and over six years in operation.
Evaluation model and funded accounts
Access to a funded account is structured in three steps: choose platform, choose account size, and choose drawdown type. The firm offers accounts from $45 per month and allows trading up to ten accounts. Features the company highlights in its model include day-one payouts, the ability to manage multiple accounts, and flexible drawdown options.
The evaluation account catalog includes sizes of $25,000, $50,000, and $100,000, with intraday or end-of-day drawdown options. Promotional prices at the time of analysis start at $45 per month for the $25,000 intraday account and go up to $108 per month for the $100,000 intraday account, with an announced 55% discount and no activation fee.
Platforms and trading modes
TradeDay works with the Tradovate and Rithmic platforms. Accounts are structured in two drawdown calculation modes: Intraday and End of Day. Each mode is combined with different evaluation profiles, including Quick Pay and Fast Pass, which vary in profit target, contract limit, required consistency percentage, and minimum number of trading days.
Funded account rules
In funded simulated accounts, the firm applies a maximum drawdown that varies by account size, with no milestones or consistency requirements in the Quick Pay mode and no payout buffer. The minimum days to first payout is one, and the minimum payout request is $250. Profit splits are set at 50/50 below $4,000 in net profit, 80/20 above that amount, and 90/10 in funded live accounts. Position limits range from 2 contracts (20 micros) to 10 contracts (50 micros) depending on size.
The Fast Pass mode introduces additional requirements: 45% consistency, a minimum of three trading days in the evaluation, and, in the funded phase, five payout days with five profitable days of $100 or $150 depending on size. The split is 80/20 in simulated and 90/10 in live, with a maximum request per cycle of $750 or $1,500. Position limits scale by one contract for every $2,000 in profit.
Verified payouts and community activity
The website shows trader payout certificates with amounts ranging from $783 to $64,317, including payouts of $13,207, $18,832, $12,326, $5,369, $3,752, $25,827, $1,436, and $1,832. The company presents these certificates as part of its verified payout history, which it estimates at over $10 million.
