Central Piedmont Community College — Harris Campus

Harris Campus is in western Mecklenburg County near Charlotte Douglas International Airport. Its concentration is personal-care training: cosmetic arts, barbering, massage therapy, esthetics, and nail technology. Continuing-education classes expand the campus beyond degree-seeking students, while the Harris Conference Center brings professional meetings and community events to the site.

The Cosmetic Arts salon has 70 haircutting stations and designated areas for manicures, pedicures, and facials. Students provide services to the public as part of supervised practical training. The Barbering Clinic likewise serves community clients while students practice cutting, shaving, grooming, and customer care under licensed instructors. The massage-therapy studio provides practical experience with real clients.

A water garden and outdoor seating create a pause between classes, and Catalyst Coffee Bar serves espresso, tea, smoothies, pastries, sandwiches, salads, and grab-and-go meals. The Harris Conference Center contains 14 meeting rooms and can host groups of up to 500. Check appointment requirements and service calendars before visiting a student clinic.
