Back Alley Treasures: coffee, wine, and local art in Bradenton Beach

Back Alley Treasures is a Bradenton Beach establishment on Anna Maria Island, Florida, that brings together a coffee shop, a wine and craft beer bar, and a gift and local art store. Its offering is defined as a blend of artistic gifts and original treasures, and it presents itself as the locals' favorite coffee shop.

Art and crafts from local creators

The shop displays and sells work by dozens of local artists. The selection includes unique jewelry, whimsical stained glass, paintings, handbags, clothing, pottery, and recycled and repurposed art and furniture pieces. According to the shop's description, these pieces fill every corner of the space.

Coffee shop and drinks bar

The coffee shop serves espresso creations, both hot and cold, fresh-brewed coffee, island smoothies, and frozen lemonade. It also offers a selection of craft beers and wines, and a limited pastry selection for breakfast or a light snack.

Hours

Regular hours are Sunday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, and Monday to Saturday from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm. In late summer, the hours adjust: Sunday to Thursday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm and Friday to Saturday from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm.

History and team

The business was born from its owners' passion for coffee, beer, and beaches. After years of vacationing on the island, they decided to settle there and, upon finding the Back Alley space available, they acquired it. The team consists of Travis, Heather, Brianna, and Malia, who say they feel fortunate to be part of the local community.
