College of Western Idaho — Ada County Center, Pintail Building

Pintail is the Ada County Center building for students who need advising, a computer lab, library access, tutoring or the Writing & AI Literacy Center. Its location at 1360 S. Eagle Flight Way sits within CWI’s Blackeagle Center, near Overland and Maple Grove roads. The college lists evening weekday hours and Saturday access, useful for students fitting coursework around a job.

This is one of three current Boise buildings grouped under Ada County Center. CWI says academic transfer classes, business, cybersecurity and information technology are taught at the center. Confirm the course schedule and the department before travelling: an advising appointment, a class and an exam may be assigned to different buildings in the complex.

CWI advertises free parking at all campus locations. Students and employees can also get a Valley Regional Transit pass with a valid college ID and sticker from One Stop Student Services. The college plans to move the Ada County Center offerings to its Boise Micron Academic Center in Fall 2027; for the 2026–27 year, use the current street address and check the official schedule.
