Carl's Golfland is a family-owned golf retail business that opened its first location in 1958, a small driving range on the outskirts of Pontiac, Michigan, founded by Carl and Donna Rose. In 1962, the business moved to its current Bloomfield Hills location, where it has since expanded to occupy 43,000 square feet of retail space and a 15-acre practice facility. In 2000, a second location was added at the Saint John's Golf and Conference Center in Plymouth, Michigan.

The Launch Pad fitting center, built in 2012 at the Bloomfield Hills headquarters, features four private suites equipped with TrackMan IV technology and live ball flight, where customers work with TrackMan certified fitters to select the most suitable equipment. The company also hosts in-store events.
