Gardyn

Indoor vertical gardens for thirty or sixteen plants with watering, lighting, an app, growing varieties, and accessories.

About Gardyn

With Gardyn, a garden takes the form of a vertical structure inside the home. The system grows plants in water without soil and combines built-in lighting, automatic watering, and digital monitoring. The company offers two formats, Gardyn Home and Gardyn Studio, that bring growing greens, herbs, and other produce into homes where outdoor space may be limited.

Gardyn Home holds thirty plants, while Studio holds sixteen. The catalog presents that difference as a choice of scale: a larger-capacity structure or a more compact option. Devices arrive with pre-seeded yCubes for starting plants in the system’s growing slots. Plant selection and ongoing maintenance are part of the experience.

The catalog offers more than a hundred varieties, including pink Swiss chard, cherry tomatoes, mint, peppers, strawberries, and sunflowers. That variety allows users to combine cooking greens, aromatic ingredients, and flowering plants. Accessories extend the process with a nursery, harvest kit, and a microgreens line with kits and seed refills separate from crops in the main structure.

Kelby is the digital assistant that works with cameras and sensors to monitor the plants. The system schedules light and water, and the app sends alerts and harvest reminders. Users still perform specific tasks such as refilling the tank, adding nutrients, pruning, and harvesting. Automation organizes monitoring while growing still involves a care routine.

Membership includes additional features, among them Vacation Mode for time away and remote access through the app. Devices, accessories, plants, and subscriptions appear as separate parts of the offering. Distinguishing them helps explain what belongs to the installation and what relates to later services or replenishment.

FX Rouxel is identified as Gardyn’s founder and CEO. The company places vertical growing, LED lighting, and machine-vision monitoring among the foundations of its project. Gardyn for Schools extends that approach to education. For home users, the appeal is following growth and harvesting indoors with two capacities and several plant families, without needing an outdoor vegetable garden.
