Six types of care within a single community

• Short-Term Stays: a furnished private apartment with the full Áegis Living experience, typically around 30 days, with shorter two-week stays occasionally available and the option to extend. They are designed for post-surgery or post-hospital recovery, caregiver respite, or a trial of community life before a permanent move.
• Transitional Memory Support: for residents with early-stage or mild memory loss who are not yet ready for full memory care. They keep the independence of assisted living with added structure, gentle cueing, and dementia-trained staff.
• Advanced Memory Care: provided in Life's Neighborhood, a secure environment purpose-designed for residents with Alzheimer's or other dementias. The layout, lighting, and daily rhythm aim to reduce confusion and protect dignity, with dementia-trained staff 24/7 and the Cognitive Compass program.
• Hospice Care: Áegis Living partners with the hospice provider chosen by the family to deliver comfort-focused care within the resident's own apartment, without moves to unfamiliar settings.

AUGi technology for fall prevention

The company uses AUGi, a smart fall management system that anticipates risks through real-time motion sensors and alerts care teams when a risk arises. The system uses blurred schematic images to preserve privacy and learns continuously, tracking behavior and sleep trends to detect emerging issues. According to results reported by Inspiren, AUGi has enabled a 34% longer stay and a 22% lower fall rate.

Culinary, wellness, and social life

Dining is one of the cornerstones of the experience: menus are chef-prepared, with seasonal options, flexible all-day dining times, and private spaces for family gatherings. Communities offer wellness and personal care services such as daily fresh juice, full-service salons, fitness spaces, and physical therapy. The activities calendar includes more than 200 monthly activities, with themed events such as Mardi Gras nights or Tuscan feasts, organized by dedicated life enrichment staff.
