Fulton County Department of Senior Services

Fulton County provides local services that should not be confused with referrals across the wider metro region. Its Department of Senior Services operates neighborhood centers, multipurpose facilities, meals, transportation, and adult-day programs. The published network includes 14 neighborhood centers offering group meals, activities, health education, and fitness, plus five multipurpose facilities with cafeterias, gyms, therapeutic pools, and classrooms. The county lists different age and access rules for each type of facility. Sites are located in Atlanta and municipalities such as College Park, Alpharetta, Hapeville, Roswell, and Union City. The county also provides transportation for eligible residents age 60 and older to medical appointments, centers, and essential activities, and home-delivered meals for people meeting age, need, and household criteria.
