MioMat

MioMat, a machine for making plant-based milks and other foods at home

MioMat is a company that sells a kitchen machine designed to prepare homemade foods from real ingredients. Its approach focuses on simplifying the making of plant-based milks, yogurt, tofu, porridges, soups, purées, smoothies, coffee creamers, and juices. The appliance combines automatic blending and cooking: the user adds the ingredients and water, selects a program, and presses the start button; the machine processes and cooks the contents and beeps when it is ready.

Foods it can prepare

The website lists the following possible preparations with the same equipment:

• Soups
• Porridges
• Plant-based milks
• Purées
• Smoothies

• Juices

In addition, the included courses allow you to turn the milk obtained into yogurt and tofu.

Three-step operation

The process described by the company comes down to three actions: add the raw ingredients and water, choose the program and press start, and wait for the appliance to finish and emit an audible signal. The firm presents this method as a way to eliminate the multiple steps, time consumption, and excessive cleanup associated with traditional homemade preparation.

StrainMate accessory

MioMat offers a complementary accessory called StrainMate, designed to strain the milk and achieve a silkier texture, make Greek-style yogurt, store the milk, and measure ingredients. At the time of the review, the site allowed pre-ordering it.
