AAA Moving & Storage dba Allied Alaska

AAA Moving & Storage operates as Allied Alaska from 747 East Ship Creek Avenue in Anchorage. The company publishes service centers in several communities and lists destinations from Fairbanks and Juneau to Ketchikan, Kodiak, Palmer and Sitka. Its residential page says it transports household goods across Alaska and to the Lower 48; confirm the route and final mile for each community.

The offer includes residential and commercial moves, packing, storage and custom crating for art or antiques. Service pages also describe floor and doorway protection, wrapping, self-packing supplies, assembly and short- or long-term storage. Request a breakdown of materials, storage and outside transportation.

Favorable comments on the exact Google Maps listing mention punctual and respectful crews, careful handling of fragile items, surface protection and office coordination. These are individual accounts; ask how boxes are identified, how shipment weight is confirmed and who assists during connections between communities.

For moves within Alaska, the company declares statewide capacity, while state rules require an intrastate USDOT for carriers operating only in the state. Ask for the Alaska identifier and make sure it matches the contracted carrier. For Lower 48 routes, check the federal household-goods authority and the local agent’s responsibilities.

The company identifies itself as an Allied Van Lines agent for interstate and international routes. That network can connect Anchorage with other terminals, but the contract should specify who handles long-haul transport, storage, vehicles and final delivery. The website displays its own 5/115 score; this profile separately records the exact Google listing.
