About Central New Mexico Community College — FUSE Makerspace

FUSE Makerspace occupies Suite 3100 at 101 Broadway NE in downtown Albuquerque. Unlike a campus where students complete an entire degree, it is a hands-on creation space CNM also opens to the public. Its mix of manual and digital tools helps people turn an idea into a prototype or finished object, with access subject to safety rules and current activities.

Its program has included short workshops in woodworking, metalwork, welding, powder coating, CNC, 3D printing, vinyl, screen printing, Illustrator, CAD and laser cutting. These workshops do not all carry college credit or a credential; each listing sets its length, cost, capacity and requirements. Students and entrepreneurs may value the chance to learn by making and try tools in one place.

The downtown address can be reached by city transit and paired with other central destinations; visitors should not assume the facility has its own parking. Confirm the activity and access instructions before going, since some equipment requires an orientation or advance registration. CNM’s Locations directory gives the exact address and phone number for current details.
