The company estimates that replacing and installing an air conditioning unit can cost between $5,000 and more than $12,000, depending on factors such as the required capacity, efficiency, required modifications, HVAC equipment that is not replaced, line set protection, installation, taxes, and rebates. It offers financing through partners, with 0% options for 60 months, subject to credit approval.

Maintenance and Repair-or-Replace Criteria

The company maintains that, beyond basic filter changes, HVAC system maintenance should be performed by a licensed professional, since it requires inspection, cleaning, adjustments, and sometimes work on gas lines. To decide between repairing or replacing a unit, North Texas HVAC considers factors such as age—generally between 10 and 20 years—rising energy bills, refrigerant leaks, and the cost of the repair: if it exceeds several thousand dollars, it suggests considering replacement. The company identifies itself with license number TACLA57069E.
