Abingdon Muster Grounds

Militiamen gathered at Abingdon Muster Grounds before setting out on the Kings Mountain campaign. The site belongs to the story interpreted by the Overmountain Victory National Historic Trail.

Historical interpretation provides context for Abingdon before the railway and theater eras. Include it as a distinct history stop, checking current access and visitor arrangements with the responsible institution.
