West Country Windows

Since 1977, West Country Windows has brought manufacturing and installation together in a family-run business based in Yeovil. That connection between factory and jobsite is central to its approach: the company makes windows at its own Somerset facility and works with homeowners looking to improve insulation, security, or how they use a room—from replacing an entry door to adding a glazed extension. Its service area includes Somerset, Devon, and Dorset.

The window and door range includes uPVC and aluminum frames, double and triple glazing, composite doors, sliding and French doors, and bifold designs. For traditional homes, the Timberlook line aims to recreate the appearance of classic joinery with lower-maintenance materials. The offering also extends to custom conservatories and orangeries, replacement roofs, warm-roof systems, skylights, and repairs to misted glazing. The company advertises warranties of up to 25 years on some products; coverage depends on the project, so customers should review the terms in their proposal.

The buying process also has an in-person side: West Country Windows lists two showrooms, one in Yeovil and another at St John’s Garden Centre in Barnstaple. Customers can compare finishes and solutions before arranging a home consultation and no-obligation quote. An installation gallery and product brochures help narrow down measurements, styles, and materials. For work that can affect everyday comfort for years, seeing the frames and discussing installation before making a decision offers a more useful reference than choosing from a photograph alone.
