The Terrace Restaurant is an establishment in Yarmouth, on the Isle of Wight, located opposite the harbour and above the Wight Link Ferry office, on the West Wight link to Lymington. It opened in 2020 and its offering combines seasonal cuisine, fresh seafood, takeaway service and boat catering.

The company itself presents itself as the only Isle of Wight restaurant recommended by Michelin, The AA, The Good Food Guide, Square Meal and Hardens. The wine list is managed by co-owner Tom Fahey, whom the firm places among the top twenty sommeliers in the United Kingdom according to Harper's.

Menus and service throughout the year

The restaurant works with sample menus that change according to the season. Between October and May it offers an à la carte menu and a Sunday menu; from June to August it maintains a specific Sunday menu and a children's menu. Meal service is organised around lunch and dinner, with times that vary according to the month and the day of the week.

In addition to dine-in service, the establishment offers takeaway food and boat catering, an activity consistent with its harbour location.

Seasonal opening hours

The website distinguishes two main periods. From June to August the restaurant opens seven days a week: coffee and pastries from 10:00 to 12:00, lunch from 11:45 to 14:30 and dinner from 17:45 to 20:30. On Sundays during that period the service is from 11:30 to 15:30.

In September it closes on Wednesdays and on Sunday evenings. From Monday to Saturday, except Wednesday, it serves coffee and pastries from 11:00 to 12:00, lunch from 11:45 to 14:30 and dinner from 17:45 to 19:30 or 20:30. On Sunday lunch is from 11:30 to 15:30.

Between October and May, the restaurant closes on Wednesdays. On Mondays and Tuesdays it only offers lunch, from 11:45 to 14:30. From Thursday to Saturday it serves lunch from 11:45 to 14:30 and dinner from 17:45 to 19:30 or 20:30. On Sunday lunch is from 11:30 to 15:30.
