DomElec Electrical & Solar Ltd.

DomElec, solar installations for North Wales and Cheshire

DomElec Electrical & Solar Ltd. is a family-run business based in Wrexham dedicated to the installation of solar energy solutions. Founded in 2017, it works with both private homes and commercial premises across the North West of England and North Wales, with the stated aim of reducing carbon footprint and lowering customers' energy bills.

Installation services

The company's offering covers five main lines of work:

• Domestic solar panels.
• Commercial solar panels.
• EV charging points.
• Heat pumps.
• Solar battery storage.

The company presents itself as specialising in the installation of solar panels, EV charging points and solar batteries, and states that its high-efficiency panels generate clean, renewable energy tailored to each customer's needs.

Working process

DomElec describes a structured procedure that begins with the customer getting in touch by phone, email or web form. From there, the company prepares a detailed quote with total costs, the installation plan and a personalised estimate of expected energy savings. If necessary, it carries out a site visit to adjust the proposal.

Once the quote is accepted, the customer pays a small deposit to secure the project and the company takes care of coordinating the schedule, appointments and any necessary permits or approvals. Installation begins with the erection of scaffolding to provide safe access to the roof, continues with the fixing of the panels in the optimal position to maximise generation, and ends with the removal of the scaffolding after the relevant checks.

After-installation care

The company provides an after-sales service that includes a full demonstration of how the system works, an explanation of each component and guidance on the apps for monitoring consumption and real-time generation. The team remains available to answer questions after installation.

Team and geographic coverage

The team comprises Dale Pritchard, director and lead installer; Matt Quinton, business development manager; Nikki Chakravarty, office manager; and electricians Peter Seddon, Ric Walters and Connel Jefferies.

According to its own list, the company serves the locations of Chester, Warrington, The Wirral, Flint, Shrewsbury, Northwich, Nantwich, Wrexham, Buckley, Malpas, Winsford, Crewe, Mold and Oswestry, among others.
