Pavilion Car & Van Rental

Pavilion Car & Van Rental, vehicle hire in Worthing since 1964

Pavilion Car & Van Rental is a vehicle rental company established in Worthing, in the English county of West Sussex. The firm presents itself on its own website as the leading car, van and minibus rental company in the Worthing area, a status it attributes to its track record. Its activity is organised around the rental of cars, vans, MPVs and minibuses, with a fleet available for immediate hire.

Origin and evolution of the fleet

The company was founded in 1964 by Lionel Broughton, who started the business with a single vehicle, a Ford Anglia. Over time he expanded the fleet with Ford Zephyr and Zodiac models and even rented Bedford Dormobile motorhomes during the summer season. That journey, which began with a single car and led to a diversified fleet, is the central thread of the historical account the company itself provides about its trajectory.

The catalogue published by the company groups its offering into cars, vans, MPVs and minibuses, and includes a selection of models with indicative daily prices:

These include a weekend special rate, valid from 12:00 on Friday until 08:00 on Monday, and a 10% discount on car rentals booked for November, applicable with the code NOV10 and not valid for commercial vehicles or MPVs. These conditions correspond to the promotions published at the time of analysis and may vary.
