Petit Cube UK: personalised gift boxes with photos and messages

Petit Cube UK is a British online shop specialising in personalised gift boxes. Customers design their own box by adding photographs, messages and a selected surprise, so the result works as a commemorative keepsake. The company presents the concept as a format halfway between a card and gift wrapping, designed to surprise.

The offering is aimed at occasions such as birthdays, anniversaries, new babies, Mother's Day, Father's Day, thank-yous or messages of encouragement, as well as just-because gifts. The site emphasises that each box becomes a lasting keepsake thanks to original designs and careful attention to detail.

Product and surprise catalogue

The shop displays a catalogue of items that can be added to the boxes. Among the listed products are crochet plush toys with messages (penguin, avocado and tomato), Scottish Fine Soaps Au Lait hand cream, a mixed crystal beaded bracelet, birthday cake lip balm, bath bombs (heart, birthday cake and pancake), an iced biscuit for celebrations, a shower steamer, 99-piece jigsaw puzzles and mini puzzles, a Japanese daruma lucky charm, relaxing bath salts, artisan chocolate bars, an enamel "Happy Birthday" badge, a ceramic dog token in a matchbox, a coconut hanging scented biscuit, a children's bracelet making kit, a hot drinks trio, gummy lips, beard shampoo, "Emergency Dad" soap and other toiletries and gift items.

The prices visible in the catalogue at the time of analysis range from £3.49 to £9.95, with some discounts applied, such as a birthday iced biscuit reduced by 17%. The site indicates limited availability on several products and shows stock status.

How ordering and delivery work

The purchase process takes place on the website: the user selects photos, adds extras and builds the box. The shop offers the option to choose the delivery date. Orders placed before 2pm are sent for next-day delivery, according to the information highlighted on the page itself.

Customer reviews

The site collects verified buyer reviews that highlight how easy it is to upload photographs, the speed of delivery, customer service and the final result. Several reviews mention that it is a small business and that the product does not come from China. One customer notes that, after finishing the design, she could not go back and view the finished product.
