Imperial Windows, double glazing in Woking, Guildford and Surrey

Imperial Windows is a family-run company based in West End (Woking, Surrey) that has been supplying and installing double glazed windows and doors since 1977. Its stated coverage area includes Woking, Guildford, Surrey, Berkshire, Hampshire and Greater London, and the company itself claims to have served more than 100,000 customers over its history.

The company presents itself as a family-managed business that carries out its own surveys and installations, without subcontracting fitting work. Its offering is organised into four main areas: windows, doors, aluminium bi-fold doors and roofline.

Double glazed windows in uPVC, aluminium and timber

The window range is structured by material and opening type. In uPVC it offers casement, French casement, flush sash, sash horn, sliding sash and tilt & turn models. In aluminium it has casement, the Heritage line, flush sash and tilt & turn. It also sells timber windows. The company highlights that all products are made to measure and installed with high-end finishes.

Entrance, patio and bi-fold doors

In the doors section, the firm works with uPVC (front, back, French, patio, sliding and stable), composite doors, aluminium doors — including bi-fold doors — and timber doors. Aluminium bi-fold doors are presented as a solution for connecting indoors and outdoors and bringing natural light into rooms.

Roofline and low-maintenance finishes

The company also carries out roofline work: fascias, soffits, cladding and guttering made from maintenance-free uPVC, backed by a ten-year guarantee according to information on its website.

Technical features and working process

Imperial Windows states that its windows come with A or A+ energy ratings as standard, the option of double or triple glazing, high-security multipoint locking and more than twenty colours and finishes available. The process it describes consists of four steps: requesting a quote (online or by phone), a free measuring visit by Nick or Scott, made-to-measure manufacturing by suppliers and, finally, installation by the company's own team. The firm stresses that the quote is fixed and in writing, with no sales pressure.

Accreditations and reputation

The company states that it holds FENSA, Certass, FSB, ISO 9001 and GQA accreditations. At the time of analysis, its Google profile showed a rating of 4.2 out of 5 based on 130 reviews, and the website includes customer testimonials mentioning the service received and the installation work on windows, doors and guttering.

In addition to Woking and Guildford, the company lists Bracknell, Camberley, Farnborough, Farnham, Leatherhead, Weybridge and Wokingham among the locations served. Its operating base is at The Oaks Nursery, Bagshot Road, West End, Woking, Surrey.
