Linwood Timber is a sawmill based in Dorset that supplies locally and sustainably sourced timber, cut to each customer's requirements, across the country. The company is part of the Upton Group of Companies and is a subsidiary of two forestry management and arboriculture services firms in southern England, which gives it access to a wide variety of timber at reduced costs compared with sawmills that buy in all their raw material.

Facilities and production capacity

Linwood Timber's site houses large timber stocks, its own workshop and state-of-the-art sawmilling machinery. The company can supply timber for construction, fencing and furniture-making projects, and also offers a service to collect felled trees, mill them to specification and return them to the customer.

Orders and how the sawmill operates

To request a quote or place an order, you need to contact us by email or phone. The office is open Monday to Friday from 8:00 to 16:00. Collection of timber from the sawmill is arranged by the office once the order is complete, as the site is not open to the public due to health and safety rules.
