Dorset Lawns

Dorset Lawns, official installer of Royal Grass artificial grass in Dorset

Dorset Lawns is a company based in Dorset (UK) dedicated to the supply and installation of artificial grass. It presents itself as an official installer and supplier of the Royal Grass brand, for which it is an authorised distributor, and operates with a nationwide service throughout the UK. The company describes itself as a small, independent team of specialist installers, with experience in laying synthetic grass in Dorset and neighbouring counties.

A unique product: Royal Grass

Dorset Lawns works exclusively with artificial grass manufactured in Holland by Royal Grass. The company justifies this choice by the product's natural appearance, its wear resistance and its safety certification for children. According to its presentation, Royal Grass fibres do not contain dangerous metals such as zinc or lead, making it suitable for use with children and pets. The material incorporates duller-toned filaments in the lower part of the weave to simulate the appearance of natural grass, and the company states that the product comes with a 15-year warranty.

Applications and customers

The company installs artificial grass for homeowners, urban spaces, public areas, schools and play areas. It also serves the professional sector, including landscapers who wish to incorporate synthetic grass into their clients' projects. Among the advantages it highlights of artificial grass are the absence of mowing, watering, herbicides and mud, as well as its UV stability and durability.

Installation service and prior visit

Dorset Lawns offers home visits for residential customers and site visits for commercial customers. During the visit, the team analyses the project, shows grass samples, verifies the garden measurements and provides a quote. The company stresses that, unlike DIY installations, its work achieves virtually invisible joins, neat edges and no wrinkles. The local installation service covers Dorset and its surroundings; for other areas, the company indicates that, as part of Royal Grass UK, it can put the customer in touch with the brand's local office.

Free samples and quote

The company sends free Royal Grass samples by post and offers a free quote through its online form. The catalogue and website show photographs of recent installations carried out by Dorset Lawns.
