Yorkshire Sleeper Sawmill

Yorkshire Sleeper Sawmill supplies customers in construction, gardening, and landscaping from its base in Wetherby. Its specialty is timber sleepers for outdoor projects, including brown- and green-treated options, rounded profiles, and some second-grade pieces. The company describes itself as a local supplier to both trade customers and the public, with trade pricing and online sales.

The range extends to raised-bed kits, posts and fencing components, edging brackets, sleeper screws, galvanized wire mesh, garden privacy screens, and weed-control membrane. It also sells compost, decorative bark, and wood chips for landscaping in bags and larger quantities. The catalog can cover both the structure of a raised bed and the finishing materials for a garden from one supplier.

The company lists a cutting service and arranges delivery across Yorkshire, the Midlands, and northern England. Order size and unloading access can affect the delivery format, so it is useful to confirm whether the chosen material ships in a bulk bag, as individual pieces, or as a loose load. The website lists current products and prices, with online ordering and phone support.

The sawmill is at 192 Thorp Arch Estate in Wetherby and is open Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; it is closed on weekends. The company says it works with sawmills that maintain quality standards and provide a year-round supply. For a project, the practical sequence is to determine measurements and quantity, choose the treatment and finish, then confirm delivery costs before arranging receipt.
