Surrey Home Removals

Surrey Home Removals: family removals in Surrey and the South East of England

Surrey Home Removals is a family-run moving and storage company based in Molesey, in the county of Surrey. Founded in 2010 by brothers John and Sean Linegar, the company started with a single hired van to help their mother move home and grew through word-of-mouth recommendations from family and friends. With the addition of their brother Gary, it was officially established as Surrey Home Removals. Today, the company is led by Jamie Linegar and Maisie Linegar and operates its own fleet of specialist vehicles of various sizes, as well as a warehouse for storage services.

Removal and packing services

The company offers home removals, packing, business relocations and storage services. On the residential side, removal specialists tailor the service to each move and include antique handling, concierge services and insurance. The packing service allows the customer to choose the scope: from packing the entire home to only delicate items, carried out by professionally trained teams.

For businesses, Surrey Home Removals handles everything from small office moves to relocating entire workforces, with expert move management services. The company also offers secure short- and long-term storage for both homeowners and businesses.

Areas covered

The company works in London, Surrey, Guildford, Spelthorne and Mole Valley. It has also carried out moves throughout the UK and Europe.

Pricing policy and own team

Surrey Home Removals states that all its quotes are backed by a fixed price guarantee, with no hourly extras, key waivers or insurance add-ons. The company emphasises that it never subcontracts work or hires agency workers: it only uses its full-time removal specialists, who receive specific training on a regular basis. According to its presentation, as an independent family-run business it has lower overheads than corporate competitors, allowing it to offer a more careful service at a lower cost.

Customer service and availability

The company can be contacted by phone or online and offers free no-obligation quotes. Each customer has a personal removal specialist who guides them throughout the process. Surrey Home Removals states it is available seven days a week and requests reviews through Google and Trustpilot.
