Farm Toys Online, farm and horse toys in Somerset

Farm Toys Online is an independent, family-run toy shop based in Somerset, United Kingdom. It presents itself as a specialist in farm and horse toys, with fast delivery within the United Kingdom and a selection aimed at little ones. The company describes itself as "Britain's Family Farm Toy Specialist" and groups its catalogue into three main areas: farm toys, horse toys and outdoor toys.

Origins: from a family search to a specialist shop

The website itself explains that the project began with the experience of Julia, mother of Emily, Oliver and Harry. Each had a different interest — Emily in horses, Oliver in farm play with cows and sheep, and Harry in tractors — and finding the toys they wanted meant visiting several shops and websites. Faced with that difficulty, Julia decided to create her own shop, and so Farm Toys Online was founded in 2008. The company says it is now bigger than it was then, but it keeps the same approach: bringing together fun, quality farm toys in one place.

Farm toy catalogue

The farm section includes tractors and farm vehicles, trailers and implements, farm animals, accessories, buildings, playsets, games and puzzles, books, clothing and accessories, remote control toys, soft toys, toddler toys, eco-friendly toys, STEM toys and greeting cards and gift vouchers. Within tractors and farm vehicles, the shop organises the catalogue by brands and models such as Claas, combine harvesters, Fendt, JCB and diggers, John Deere, Land Rover, Massey Ferguson, New Holland and Steyr.

Horse toys and outdoor toys

The horse section brings together horse and pony figures, stable and horse accessories, themed gifts, Breyer horses and accessories, horse soft toys, Schleich Horse Club, Miss Melody and unicorn toys. Outdoors, the catalogue includes electric ride-ons, foot-to-floor tractors for ages 1 to 3, pedal tractors for 2½ to 5 years and 3 to 8 years, trailers and attachments for ride-on tractors, garden toys and sandpit toys.
