Luke Tours

Luke Tours proposes exploring Skye and the Scottish Highlands through private trips making room for hikes, photographs, and stops chosen by the group. Guide Luke Skye-Walker developed the project after two seasons with Timberbush Tours on the island. He wanted a way of traveling that allowed more time in the landscape, with executive transport and a personal itinerary.

The one-day excursion leaves Inverness and links Highland scenery with Skye. Loch Ness, Eilean Donan Castle, and Kilt Rock are among the places in the program, alongside a short hike toward the Old Man of Storr. It is the most concentrated format, bringing several sights into one day at a different pace from multiday trips.

Tour of Dreams extends the experience to two days. The offering incorporates coastal routes, ferry crossings, lesser-known viewpoints, whisky tastings, and dining recommendations. The extra time allows visits and hikes to be spread out rather than spending the entire day connecting drives from the departure city.

Edge of the World is the three-day format, focusing on Skye, sea lochs, and other islands. The itinerary adds different modes of transport and wildlife and marine-life viewing experiences. It also includes places the guide keeps as part of the trip’s surprise. Its approach combines an organized route with opportunities to adapt the journey to the group’s interests.

Photography has its own place in Luke’s experience. In addition to guiding, he is a professional photographer and qualified drone pilot, with work for BBC Scotland and other organizations. His earlier career in music and production connects with the life change that followed a North Coast 500 trip in 2018. Images and photography stops are part of his way of sharing the area.
