Viable Power

Viable Power: solar energy and EV charging in Surrey

Viable Power Solutions Ltd is a Surrey-based company that installs photovoltaic systems, battery storage and electric vehicle charging points, as well as providing domestic and commercial electrical services. The company presents itself as an MCS-certified installer and focuses its main activity on homeowners in Surrey, Hampshire and the South East of England, although it states that it carries out work nationwide.

Solar systems tailored to each home

The company designs custom photovoltaic installations based on the customer's roof type, energy consumption and budget. According to its approach, each system is configured individually because not all homes or their needs are the same. The process covers everything from the initial consultation to the final installation, with the stated aim of reducing electricity bills, lowering the carbon footprint and increasing the home's energy independence.

Alongside the panels, the company offers battery storage systems, which allow the energy generated to be stored for later use.

Electric vehicle charging and electrical services

Viable Power installs electric vehicle charging points in both homes and commercial settings in Surrey, Hampshire and nearby areas. Its catalogue includes equipment from the Project EV and Zappi v2 brands.

The electrical section includes full home rewiring, fuse board upgrades, charger installation and smart home systems. The company also provides commercial electrical services to businesses, landlords and property developers across the UK, as well as air conditioning installation.

Accreditations and finance

The company states that it is fully accredited by industry bodies, which, it says, allows it to take part in schemes such as the Smart Export Guarantee. Viable Power Solutions Ltd is listed as an appointed representative (financial registration number 995930) of Phoenix Financial Consultants Limited, an entity that acts as a credit broker and not as a lender, authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FRN 539195). Finance is subject to approval and affordability checks.

Local presence and sponsorship

The company describes itself as part of the local community and sponsors Farnham Town FC, as well as supporting other grassroots initiatives in Surrey and Hampshire. Its stated service area covers towns such as Guildford, Farnborough, Woking and Basingstoke, within the South East of England.

Referral programme

Viable Power runs a programme offering a £200 Amazon.co.uk gift card to anyone who refers a customer whose installation is completed.

After-sales support

The company notes that its support does not end with installation and that it offers maintenance and advice to keep the solar system running.
