TP Toys

TP Toys: children's toys with nearly seven decades of history

TP Toys is a British family-run company that has been designing and selling children's toys since 1959. Its catalogue is organised around two main areas — outdoor and indoor toys — and ranges from large play structures to smaller items for sensory and educational development. The company presents itself as a toy manufacturer in the United Kingdom and maintains an online store with home delivery.

Outdoor toys: structures, movement and outdoor play

The outdoor range includes trampolines, climbing frames, mud kitchens, playhouses, swings, slides, 4 in 1 trikes, sand and water play, and ride ons. Within trampolines, the catalogue is segmented by size (6, 8, 10, 12 and 14 ft), by age (1 to 3 years and 6 years+), by shape (round, rectangular, two level and Infinity) and by accessories such as ladders and covers. Climbing frames are divided by material (wooden and metal), by range (Explorer, Skywood and toddler) and by configuration (with slide, with swing or with monkey bars), with specific accessories for each material. Playhouses are classified by material (wooden, plastic and play tents), by set (with slide, with swing, lookout towers, with kitchen or with climbing frame) and by number of storeys (single or two storey). Swings are grouped by size (single, double, triple and with slide), by material (wooden and metal) and by seats and accessories (single or two person).

Indoor toys: early stages, learning and creativity

In the indoor section, TP Toys sells nursery toys, educational toys, climbing triangles and indoor slides, ride ons, playhouses, arts & crafts, and robots and remote controlled vehicles. Nursery toys are arranged by age (baby and toddler), by material (wooden, plastic and metal) and by brand, including Active-Tots, Gruffalo, Owl & Fox and Grow with Peppa. The educational section includes Montessori toys, role playing toys, educational sand and water play, and wooden play easels. Climbing triangles and indoor slides are divided into Pikler triangles and indoor slides. In arts & crafts, products such as the two-way play easel, the Tybo XL Ultimate Tie Dye Set, the Tybo Design Studio and the Tybo Print Studio are offered.

Guided shopping and resources to choose

The store includes a toy finder that allows filtering the range by age, available space, interests and price. It also publishes buying and safety guides for various categories, such as trampolines, climbing frames, playhouses, swings, slides and mud kitchens, as well as content on garden slide maintenance, the benefits of sensory play and choosing a baby swing. The company also offers the possibility of configuring custom play structures through the Build Your Own option, which covers climbing frames, playhouses and swings.
