LUXEHOUSE Decor: bespoke solid wood furniture made in Hampshire

LUXEHOUSE Decor is a British manufacturer of solid wood furniture and homeware that works with selected hardwoods and crafts every piece in its Hampshire workshop, UK. The company combines traditional craftsmanship with functional design and produces furniture and homeware that, according to its presentation, aim to bring warmth, character and individuality to spaces.

Its catalogue is organised by room and by type of wood, and includes dining tables, desks, coffee tables, side tables, console tables, shelving, mirrors, bedside tables, coat racks, chopping boards, trays, clocks and picture frames. The company works with walnut, oak, mahogany, maple and rustic-looking woods, and offers customisation options in dimensions and finishes.

Furniture by room

The range is grouped into several categories for domestic use. For the dining room and kitchen, the company sells dining tables, breakfast bars, chopping boards and serving boards. For the living room, the catalogue includes coffee tables, side tables, shelving, mirrors, clocks and coasters. For the bedroom it offers bedside tables; for the hallway, coat racks and console tables; and for outdoor areas, outdoor tables and benches.

The picture frame line is one of the most developed in the catalogue. It includes standard frames, box frames and canvas frames, with glazing and mount options, and they are offered in formats ranging from A5 to A0, measurements in inches and centimetres, and B1 to B4 formats, in both portrait and landscape orientation.

Woods and manufacturing process

The company works mainly with walnut, oak, mahogany, maple and rustic-finish woods. Each piece is made to order in the Hampshire workshop, which allows dimensions and finishes to be adapted to the customer's needs. The firm presents solid wood as a material with visible grain, knots and rings, and maintains that this natural uniqueness distinguishes its products from those made with synthetic materials.

The catalogue shows a wide variety of sizes in products such as desks and frames, reflecting its focus on bespoke manufacturing. The company also offers the option of purchasing sets of four products with a 20% discount on the package price.

Shipping, installation and reviews

LUXEHOUSE Decor offers free shipping and installation on orders over £1,000. The company states that orders are shipped and installation is carried out once that threshold is exceeded. On its website it shows more than 600 positive customer reviews, which highlight the quality of the materials, the made-to-measure fit, the speed of delivery and the finish of pieces such as frames and walnut furniture.
