Land of Beds is a UK retailer specialising in beds, mattresses and sleep products. It presents itself as a third-generation family business with over fifty years of trading and as a stockist of some of the leading brands in the sector. The company sells both online and through physical stores, where it offers expert sleep advice.

By size, the offering includes single beds, small double beds, double beds, king size beds, super king size beds and emperor beds.

In the bed frames section, there are wooden, metal, storage, rattan, oak, upholstered and fabric models, as well as white, black and grey finishes. The kids section includes bunk beds, cabin beds, mid sleepers, gaming beds, triple bunk beds and high sleeper or loft beds.

Mattresses: types, tensions and sizes

The mattress range is organised by size — small single, single, small double, double, king size, European king size, super king size and emperor — and by type, including memory foam, foam, hybrid, pocket sprung, cooling, latex, roll up, orthopaedic, gel, adjustable bed and pillow top. They are also classified by tension: soft, medium, medium firm, firm and extra firm.

The company states it has a selection of award-winning mattresses in all sizes and claims to have knowledge of comfort levels to suit different sleeping positions, from those who prefer soft surfaces to those who need more support.

Headboards and bedding

The catalogue includes headboards in single, small double, double, king size, super king size and emperor sizes, in wooden and fabric or upholstered versions, with grey, white, pink, cream and black finishes.

The bedding section comprises pillows, mattress toppers, mattress protectors, duvets, duvet cover sets, pillow protectors, weighted blankets, mattress pads and bed sheets. Pillows are subdivided into large, memory foam, feather, cooling, latex, ergonomic and anti-allergy, with options for side sleepers, back sleepers and front sleepers. Duvets are offered in single, double, king size and super king size, and in 4.5, 10.5 and 13.5 tog weights, with summer, winter and all seasons variants. Mattress toppers are classified by size, type — memory foam, cooling, foam and wool — and tension.
