Casey's Venues at Cordingley Hall

Cordingley Hall brings the look of a 1920s ballroom to a venue that combines indoor rooms, a garden, and a marquee. Casey’s Venues opened its flagship location in Telford in July 2013, building on the growth of its sister company, Casey’s Mobile Bars. The site is available for private celebrations and also hosts entertainment nights for local residents.

The layout helps explain why the offer is more than a single function room. The main room has a marquee-style ceiling with starcloth lighting, floor-to-ceiling white drapes, a mirrored bar, a stage, and a generous dance floor. Tables come in different sizes, allowing the room to be set up for a formal reception, dinner and dancing, or a party with live entertainment.

Outside, the garden and marquee add open-air seating and an all-weather gazebo. Casey’s presents this space for weddings and summer parties, while its flexible setup can also accommodate other gatherings. For smaller occasions, the VIP lounge has its own bar and booth seating, can host up to 60 people, and can be separated from the main room, with its own entrance and washroom facilities.

The piano bar offers a more intimate setting, with black-and-white tiled floors, a white grand piano, comfortable seating, and a small bar. It can serve as a place to talk or as a holding area during an event. Together, the four spaces can divide different parts of one celebration—the reception, meal, and dancing—without requiring everything to happen in the same room.

Weddings are one of the venue’s core formats. The events team works with each couple to plan the day, and catering options include hot roast platters, served three-course meals, and hot or cold buffets. Entertainment can include an in-house DJ, live duet singers, or Casey’s Crystallettes; customers can also bring their own act, and the stage can accommodate a band of up to eight members.

The calendar also includes birthdays, children’s parties, proms, christenings, baby showers, charity galas, conferences, and corporate hires. Some celebrations can include mobile-bar service through the sister company. For events at Cordingley Hall, the team can coordinate catering, drinks, and entertainment with the room hire, depending on the event and the group’s needs.

A viewing gives prospective customers a chance to see the setup before booking, but it is different from simply arriving without notice: Sunday viewings are by appointment, and opening and viewing times can change with scheduled events.
