History and National Expansion

The company was founded in 2014 by Rob Stone, who started out operating from the garage of his home in Telford. In 2015 it opened its first official depot in Tweedale, and in 2018 it opened a second depot in Reading to serve the south and south-east of England. Between 2019 and 2023, six more depots were opened, bringing the total to eight. In 2020, the head office and warehouse operations moved to larger premises in Hortonwood, Telford.

Today, InstaLoft describes itself as a national operation with more than 150 employees and eight depots, and claims to be the UK's largest and most experienced loft boarding installer.

How It Works

The service is structured in three steps: first, the customer requests a free survey; then a technician inspects the loft, checks the insulation and prepares the quote; finally, the company's in-house installers carry out the work to certified standards.
