About Airband
Airband, ultrafast connectivity for businesses
Airband is a business-oriented broadband service provider that offers high-speed connections with the promise of reaching businesses that other networks cannot. Its offering is built around two technologies: fibre-to-the-premises (FTTP) and fixed wireless access (FWA), the latter designed for locations where fibre is not available.
Business broadband packages
Airband's business catalogue includes four main packages, all with unlimited data usage, a Nokia WiFi 6 mesh router, a 48-hour SLA, and 24-month contracts. The company states that average speeds are calculated from the download and upload speeds of at least 50% of customers at peak time (8pm to 10pm).
- AirSpeed Business 150: average download speed of 150 Mbps (estimated range 100-150 Mbps) and upload speed of 30 Mbps (range 20-30 Mbps). Uses fixed wireless access (FWA) technology.
- AirSpeed Business 400: average download speed of 400 Mbps (range 325-400 Mbps) and upload speed of 75 Mbps (range 65-75 Mbps). Also based on FWA.
- Ultimate Fibre 600: average download and upload speed of 600 Mbps (range 500-600 Mbps in both cases). Uses fibre technology.
- Ultimate Fibre 900: average download and upload speed of 900 Mbps (range 750-900 Mbps in both cases). Uses fibre technology.
The company also offers the possibility of building custom packages according to each business's needs, with a dedicated account manager and optional static IP address.

Frequently asked questions about the service
The company clarifies that businesses can choose FTTP or fixed wireless access, and that most opt for FTTP. Where this technology is not available, the fixed wireless connection still offers unlimited internet with speeds up to 400 Mbps. It also confirms that it is possible to get business broadband at a residential address and that, although a home connection can be used for work, a dedicated business line makes a difference in reliability and support.
