WJMTech: Custom-built gaming PCs and certified refurbished equipment

WJMTech Limited is a British retailer specialising in two product lines: gaming computers configured and assembled in-house, subjected to stress testing, and certified refurbished equipment, mainly laptops and desktops from brands such as Dell, Lenovo and HP. The store operates online and offers free UK delivery, with a next-day delivery option.

The company backs its catalogue with a three-year warranty on all products, flexible payment via Klarna at checkout, and an advisory service to help choose a configuration based on the games the user will play.

Gaming PC range by price bracket and use

The new computer catalogue is organised into three tiers according to budget and technical demands:

• Starter: from £399, designed as a first gaming PC or console replacement, with Ryzen 5 or Intel processors, RTX 3050 graphics, SSD storage and 16 GB RAM, aimed at 1080p gaming. Full bundles with a monitor are available.
• Performance: between £800 and £2000, with Nvidia RTX 5060 and RTX 5070 graphics, AMD Ryzen 5 or Ryzen 7 processors and up to 32 GB RAM, for 1080p and 1440p, with premium cases and advanced cooling options.
• Enthusiast: from £2000, with RTX 5070 Ti and RTX 5080, AMD Ryzen X3D processors, DDR5 memory and premium liquid cooling, intended for AAA titles, high-refresh-rate 1440p and 4K.

The site also groups systems by component: Nvidia RTX graphics (3050, 5060, 5070 and 5070 Ti), AMD Ryzen processors (5 5500, 7 5700X and 7 9800X3D) and Intel (Core i7-4770, i5-8400 and i7-8700, i5-12400F).

Gaming bundles and featured configurations

WJMTech sells bundles that combine a tower, monitor, keyboard and mouse, and even headphones in some configurations, designed to start gaming without buying peripherals separately. Among the systems listed at the time of analysis are models such as the RTX 5060 Ti with Ryzen 7 5700X, 32 GB RAM and 1 TB NVMe in a Corsair 4000D RS case; the 16 GB RTX 5080 on Hyte Y70 Touch with Ryzen 7 9800X3D, 32 GB DDR5, 2 TB NVMe and 360 mm liquid cooling; or RTX 5060 configurations with Ryzen 5 5500 in the F3, Aurora and Vector series. Catalogue prices ranged from £569.99 to £3,499.99, with occasional discounts applied to some models.

Refurbished laptops and desktops

The second line of business is certified refurbished equipment with Windows 11, presented as an alternative with lower environmental impact. The company states that renewed laptops include upgraded SSD drives and RAM, as well as new batteries when necessary. The catalogue includes Lenovo ThinkPad laptops from various generations (13 Gen 2, T14, L13 Gen 1, X380 Yoga convertible with touchscreen) and Dell Latitude (7310 and 3510), with prices at the time of analysis ranging from £109.99 to £499.99. Refurbished Dell, HP and Lenovo desktops, all-in-one systems and Xeon workstation desktops are also offered, as well as monitors.

Technical advice and customer service

The company offers a guidance service to translate technical specifications —processor, RAM, SSD, NVMe, liquid cooling— into real gaming needs, from titles like Fortnite or Roblox to AAA productions, with the stated aim that customers do not pay for features they will not use. The website shows an average rating of 4.88 from 653 verified reviews, and the site description mentions more than 450 reviews on Trustpilot and over a thousand reviews across various platforms.

Shipping, warranty and payment

Shipping is free within the UK, with next-day delivery available. All products carry the company's warranty, set at three years for gaming PCs. The store accepts American Express, Diners Club, Discover, Google Pay, JCB, Mastercard, PayPal and Visa, and offers Klarna as a split payment option during checkout.
