Cliveden House is a five-star hotel located in Berkshire, in the heart of the countryside near London, about 40 minutes from the capital and 25 minutes from Heathrow Airport. The property is owned by the National Trust and is part of Iconic Hotels & Resorts. The building, a Grade I listed stately home, stands on 376 acres of landscaped grounds managed by the National Trust. Its history spans more than 350 years: it was built in 1666 by the second Duke of Buckingham as a gift to his mistress, and since then it has been linked to influential figures, iconic parties and scandalous episodes. The house has welcomed every reigning monarch since George I.

The selection includes Classic Rooms, Club Rooms, Deluxe Double Rooms and Hot Tub Rooms, as well as the Bobbie Shaw Room. It also has Spring Cottage, a separate three-bedroom house designed for families, small groups or couples seeking a romantic and secluded stay.

The Cliveden Dining Room occupies what was once the house's drawing room, a large south-facing room with views of the 19th-century parterre, the National Trust gardens and the River Thames. The Astor Grill is located in the former stables, which once housed Lord Astor's most prized mares; its decor follows an equestrian theme and offers a relaxed, informal approach, open to both guests and outside visitors. The hotel also serves an afternoon tea inspired by its royal connections, called Cliveden and the Crown, and offers private dining options. The menus are made with fresh, local produce.
