United Flags And Flagstaffs is a British manufacturer and retailer specialising in national flags that, according to its own presentation, has been in operation for over thirty years. The company holds stock of flags from every country in the world and organises its national flag catalogue into three types: sewn, printed and budget.

Three qualities of national flag

The company describes each of its ranges with different materials and finishes:

• Sewn flags: made from 140 g/m² fabric to UK Ministry of Defence (MOD) standards. They feature double-stitched hems on the top and bottom edges, extra stitching on the fly edge, reinforced flag banding and a standard rope and toggle finish. Eyelets, spinnaker clips and Inglefield clips are available as optional extras.
• Printed flags: produced by direct dye sublimation onto fabric, with colours resistant to fading from sun exposure. Designed for regular use on outdoor flagpoles, they are made from 115 g/m² flag fabric and available in many sizes.
• Budget flags: screen printed onto tough polyester, suitable for indoor display or short-term use on flagpoles. They have hems on all four sides and two brass eyelets, and are only available in the popular 5 x 3 ft size, with immediate stock availability.

Flag catalogue

In addition to national flags, the catalogue covers UK, international, hand waving, custom print and custom sewn flags, feather flags, pavement flags, table flags, ceremonial standards, festival flags, British military flags, British counties and regional flags, Church of England diocese flags, world organisation flags, birthday flags and custom shape advertising flags. The range is completed with sports flags for golf, football and motor racing, as well as bunting and fabric pennants for various flags.

Flagpoles, gazebos and signage
