History and family ownership

The company was founded by William Widdop in 1883 in Brighouse, Yorkshire, initially as a manufacturer and retailer of quality clocks and jewellery. Today it is still managed by the fifth generation of the founding family and has almost 140 years of activity in the home and gift sector.
