TECNI

TECNI, British specialist in stainless steel wire rope and custom assemblies

TECNI presents itself as a UK specialist in stainless steel wire rope, fittings and custom-made assemblies. Its catalogue combines wire rope and cable, hardware, tensioning systems and suspension solutions, with in-house manufacturing, load testing, material certification and laser engraving capabilities.

Manufacturing and certification capabilities

The company declares capabilities that go beyond the sale of components: wire rope assembly manufacturing, load testing and certification, material certification and laser engraving. These operations make it possible to supply assembled and verified assemblies, not just loose parts.

Cable and wire rope catalogue

The cable range includes stainless steel wire rope in 7x7, 7x19, 19x7 and 1x19 configurations, as well as miniature wire rope. It also offers galvanised wire rope in 7x7, 7x19 and 19x7, and aircraft cable to military specification Mil-DTL-83420, in its Comp A and Comp B variants, both galvanised and stainless.

The range is completed with coated cable: PVC over galvanised and stainless in various constructions, and nylon over stainless steel. In addition, the catalogue includes catenary systems, security cables, stainless locking wire and black theatre cable for stage rigging.

Fittings, terminals and tensioning systems

The fittings range covers aluminium, copper and stainless steel ferrules and crimps, stainless swage fittings (eye, jaw, stud and toggle), swageless terminals for manual assembly, and ball terminals. Shackles, hooks, eyebolts, eye nuts, turnbuckles, padlocks and wire rope grips are also included.

Among the brands and references cited are TALURIT, Crosby, IRONGRIP, Kwik-Loc, Zip-Clip, Green Pin, William Hackett, Robur, Columbus McKinnon and Yale. The catalogue also includes cutting and crimping tools, hydraulic dies, reels and spools, and cable tension meters.

Solutions for balustrades, gardening and gyms

TECNI sells cable balustrade systems in 4 mm, 6 mm and vertical versions, as well as cable and rod trellis systems with the Micro, Basic, Mini Pro and Pro ranges, plus plant support rods. For sports equipment it offers TECNI-FLEX and TECNI gym cable, terminals and repair tools.

Lifting and safety

The lifting and safety section brings together lifting eyebolts and eye nuts, Green Pin fittings, William Hackett chain and lever hoists, Tirfor winches and their cables, grade 8 and 10 lifting chains, and Columbus McKinnon lifting equipment, including the Yale BatteryStar, UNOplus and ERGO 360 models. Beam clamps, grips and trolleys are also included.
