Keay Vital Parts

Keay Vital Parts, furniture components and replacement parts in the UK

Keay Vital Parts is a British supplier specialising in furniture parts and components, with a catalogue focused on floor protection and on the fixings and finishing touches for legs. The company presents itself as a specialist in this segment in the UK and serves residential, hospitality, institutional and public sector projects.

Its range is organised by product type, leg type and floor type, so that customers can find the right reference according to the furniture configuration and the surface it rests on.

Floor protection and glides

The catalogue includes furniture felt pads in self-adhesive, nail-on and screw-on formats, with variants such as dome felt, steel-based felt and premium wool felt for real wood floors. It also sells plastic, nylon, rubber and PTFE glides, metal glides, models for skid and cantilever bases, and furniture leg cups with a felt base.

These products are designed to protect wood, laminate, LVT and tile floors from scratches, marks and permanent indentations caused by heavy furniture legs.

Inserts, caps and hardware

The company supplies tube inserts, ferrules and end caps, and replacement feet for school chairs. In the fixings and hardware section it offers adjustable feet, screws, screw caps, washers and hole plugs, as well as tools, shelf support pegs and upholstery nails.

Search by leg type and floor type

The website allows filtering by leg type: wooden, round tubular, square tubular, rectangular tubular, oblong tubular, skid base or cantilever with saddle glides, and threaded and adjustable feet. It also organises products according to the intended floor: wood, parquet and timber; LVT, vinyl and laminate; tile, porcelain and stone; carpet and commercial rugs; poured resin and polished screed floors; and outdoor paving, concrete and decking.

To make selection easier, the website publishes a floor compatibility guide, a frame and leg compatibility guide, and a guide to measuring and ordering tube inserts.

Services for projects and the public sector

Keay Vital Parts offers a commercial fitting service and serves the public sector and schools via purchase order. It also provides samples to customers.
