QETTLE

QETTLE: British manufacturer of boiling water taps

QETTLE is a British company specialising in the manufacture of boiling water taps, marketed under the QETTLE brand. The firm presents itself as the UK's leading manufacturer in its category and is part of Greg Rowe Limited, a family business with two generations dedicated to the design and engineering of kitchen taps. Its history spans 45 years, during which the company has been involved in transforming the conventional tap into a multi-functional product. Its heritage includes the Triflow® and Perrin & Rowe® brands, associated with the Rowe name.

Products and available ranges

QETTLE's catalogue is organised into several product families. Boiling water taps include 4-in-1 and 2-in-1 models. The 4-in-1 range comprises QETTLE Original, Signature Modern and Signature Classic, which in addition to 100°C water and cold filtered water also provide standard hot and cold flows. The 2-in-1 range includes QETTLE Original Mini and QETTLE Signature Mini, which dispense boiling water and cold filtered water. Tap pairs that combine a boiling water tap with a mixer tap are also sold under the name Boiling & Mixer Tap Pairs, with Signature Modern and Signature Classic options.

The company has recently launched a new spout with a flexible hose and twin spray, called Spray Spout, which combines everyday ease of use with a refined design. In addition, the catalogue includes mixer taps, filters and spares.

Technical features and key value

QETTLE taps dispense water at 100°C, a temperature that the company distinguishes from instant hot water. The firm explains on its website the difference between a true boiling water tap and an instant hot water tap. The products come with a two-year warranty and are designed and manufactured in the UK. The company presents itself as a good value-for-money option within its segment, with an entry price of £480.00 for the QETTLE Mini model. The site shows other prices reaching up to £885.00 for certain models.

Finance and purchase

QETTLE offers 0% finance through DivideBuy, with payments split over 3, 6, 9 or 12 months. According to the site information, instant boiling water is available from £40 a month. The application process is completed in 60 seconds and DivideBuy provides an immediate decision. Finance options with Klarna and Zopa Retail Finance are also mentioned.

Installation and showroom network

The company offers an installation service in certain areas, which the customer can check by entering their postcode when placing an order. QETTLE has a network of showrooms and designers where customers can see the products. It also has a programme for installers and another for workplace environments.

Customer service and support

Customer service is available Monday to Friday, from 9:00 to 16:00, via telephone 01603 875464. The company offers care guides, FAQs, technical specifications and a model comparison tool. Customers can register their QETTLE tap and access filters and spares.

Origin and innovation

QETTLE's history dates back to Greg Rowe Snr, whose work included co-designing the first 3-in-1 kitchen tap and who in 2004 predicted that taps of the future would have 4-in-1 functionality. QETTLE, fully patented and the recipient of multiple design awards, is the realisation of that vision. The company is based in a rural area and has in-house customer service, digital, manufacturing and dispatch teams. Some of its designers and engineers began their careers at the company over 20 years ago, and some of those apprentices now train others.

Presence and recognition

QETTLE has been a finalist in the Ciphe BKU 2025 awards. The company operates under the trade name QETTLE, owned by Greg Rowe Limited, and its products are protected by patents in the United States, United Kingdom and China, as well as by international patent applications.
