etyres: online tyre sales with mobile fitting in the UK

etyres is a British retailer specialising in online tyre sales, operating under the company name Electronic Tyres Online Ltd. Its proposition combines a catalogue of brands across different tiers with a flexible fitting service: customers can have tyres delivered to their home or workplace, visit a local partner garage, or fit them themselves. The company states it has been offering mobile tyre fitting for over 25 years.

Tyre catalogue by tier and brand

The site organises its range into three price tiers. The premium tier includes brands such as Bridgestone, Continental, Dunlop, Goodyear, Michelin and Pirelli. The mid-range tier includes Toyo, Firestone, GT-Radial and Kormoran, presented as balanced-performance options for summer and winter. The budget tier brings together brands such as Comforser, Fullrun, Mazzini and Minerva. In addition to these commercial categories, the catalogue is structured by tyre type: all season, run flat, for hybrids and electric vehicles, summer, winter, van and 4x4, as well as by vehicle.

Fitting services: mobile, garage or delivery only

etyres offers three delivery and fitting options. The mobile service sends a fitter to the customer's home, workplace or any convenient location. The local garage option uses a network of partner garages. The third option is to receive the tyres and fit them yourself. The site states that same-day garage fitting is only available on specific tyres in certain locations, and that you need to enter your postcode to check availability.

Other services: batteries, air conditioning and tyre protection

Alongside tyres, the company sells car batteries with installation through its network of local garages or via store collection for self-fitting. It also offers air conditioning recharge, carried out by technicians who refill the system with refrigerant. As a complementary service, it offers tyre protection for £10.99 per tyre covering accidental damage: if the tyre needs replacing, cover can reach up to 100% of the replacement cost, and if it is repairable, it contributes towards the cost of puncture repair.

Current promotions in the catalogue

The site shows discounts when buying two or more tyres from selected brands, with promotional codes and specific terms depending on brand and size. Among the advertised offers are up to £40 off Kumho, Pirelli and Yokohama, up to £20 off Firestone, Toyo, Runway and Hankook, and up to £50 in Amazon.co.uk gift cards when buying Bridgestone tyres. These promotions state end dates and are limited to the UK, with a restriction for those aged 17 and over and additional terms.

Technical information and customer resources

The website brings together supporting content on tyre manufacturers, labelling and UK tyre law, safety, inflation pressure and measuring the repairable area. It also includes a tyre size calculator and a selection of popular sizes, such as 205/55R16, 225/40R18 or 225/45R17. The buying process is described in four steps: enter your registration or tyre size, choose your tyres, select the fitter and get them fitted.
