Origin and history

BrewKegTap was founded in 2015 by Jonny, a home brewer with fifteen years of brewing experience. As the company itself recounts, the difficulty of finding good keg equipment in the UK led him to create kegging and dispensing solutions for other enthusiasts, which gave rise to the project in 2017. Jonny left teaching to dedicate himself full time to BrewKegTap and continues to brew, personally selecting and testing the equipment the shop sells.

Shipping and guarantee

The company offers free DPD shipping for orders over £80 and under 20 kg, and same-day shipping for orders placed before midday Monday to Friday. It also offers delivery and collection options. The shop states a minimum one-year no-quibble guarantee.

Support for commercial brewers

In addition to its catalogue for hobbyists, BrewKegTap has a specific section for commercial customers, confirming that it also supplies equipment and keg solutions for professional settings.

Resources for beginners

The website includes brewing guides, FAQs and a blog with articles such as a beginner's guide on how to make beer at home, an explanation of beer ingredients and an introduction to kegerators. The company presents itself as a partner for bringing brewing ideas to life with keg kits and specialised equipment for crafting and serving drinks at home.
