About Aldervale Veterinary Centre

Aldervale Veterinary Centre, veterinary care on the Lincolnshire coast

Aldervale Veterinary Centre is a network of veterinary clinics with several surgeries distributed along the Lincolnshire coast in the United Kingdom. Its activity focuses on companion animal care and is supported by Rase Veterinary Centre in Market Rasen, a practice with around fifty years of history that underwent extensive renovation and achieved RCVS Tier 3 accreditation in June 2017.

Aldervale's structure is organised around a veterinary hospital located in Ashby-by-Partney, which acts as a referral centre for out-of-hours emergencies. The hospital's clinical team works with a particular interest in surgery and small animal medicine, and treats both cases handled directly at Aldervale and those requiring hospitalisation at Rase.

Aldervale Veterinary Centre's service catalogue covers general consultations, home visits, diagnostic imaging, rehabilitation, orthopaedic and soft tissue surgery, an onsite laboratory and certification. The clinic also provides services related to zoos.

Emergencies and out-of-hours cover

Aldervale Veterinary Centre provides out-of-hours emergency cover for the twenty small animal practices of Rase and Aldervale Vets across Lincolnshire and South Yorkshire. It also provides emergency cover for Vets4Pets Scunthorpe.

The protocol indicated by the clinic for emergencies is to call your usual surgery first before travelling. Outside normal opening hours, the call is redirected automatically. When the case requires it, the patient may be referred to the Ashby-by-Partney hospital. The clinic applies an out-of-hours surcharge of £108 after 7pm, 365 days a year.

Veterinary team and professional standards

The clinic states that its veterinary team brings a wealth of experience and that its members have individually obtained high standards of professional qualification. The support of Rase Veterinary Centre includes the presence of suitably qualified staff on site 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, and access to state-of-the-art equipment.

Pet insurance

Aldervale Veterinary Centre recommends that its clients have cover for accidents and illnesses affecting their animals. The clinic's preferred insurer is Pet Proactive, which offers Aldervale clients lifetime cover for treatments and referrals made through the practice itself.

Network of clinics

Aldervale Veterinary Centre's network comprises five clinics located in Alford, Ashby-by-Partney, Chapel St Leonards, Skegness and Sutton on Sea. The Ashby-by-Partney hospital, located at The Forecourt, serves as the main and emergency centre.
