The Silent Disco Guys

The Silent Disco Guys: silent disco and karaoke hire in the UK

The Silent Disco Guys is a British provider specialising in silent disco equipment and karaoke machine hire. The company presents itself as one of the leading suppliers in the sector in the UK and has been operating since 2010, with coverage in Essex, London and the surrounding Home Counties, as well as shipping nationwide.

Its offering ranges from dry hire — equipment only, without staff — to a full service with DJ, lighting and live hosting. The catalogue is suited to events of different sizes, from private parties and weddings to festivals, club nights and corporate functions.

Sound equipment and music channels

The service is built around wireless headphones with LED channel indicators and up to three simultaneous music channels, so guests can switch between different music selections during the event. The company offers two ranges of headphones:

• Standard: entry-level option, described as the industry standard. It includes three music channels, long battery life, solid sound quality and LED channel indicators. It does not support Bluetooth or microphone input, the transmitter requires mains power and its on-ear design does not fully block outside noise.
• Advanced: top-of-the-line range, with three music channels, 8 to 10 hours of battery life, enhanced sound with deeper bass, an over-ear design that blocks outside noise, a transmitter with a built-in rechargeable battery that allows it to run off-grid, and support for Bluetooth and microphone input.

DJ services and packages

In addition to headphone hire, the company offers silent disco DJ services and several DJ packages: Basic, Standard, Deluxe and Deluxe Video. It also offers karaoke machine hire, tour guide headphone hire and garden game hire.

Events and sectors served

The company targets weddings, corporate events, parties, festivals, gyms, nightclubs and care homes, among others. It is available for both dry hire and events with DJ, lighting and live hosting, with multiple music channels.

Extras and logistics

The service includes the option to add extras such as lighting, smoke machines, stage setups and branding customisation options. The company delivers throughout the UK and collects the equipment by courier after the event. The hire process is described in four steps: online booking, home delivery with pre-loaded headphones, transmitters, cables and setup instructions, connection and use during the event, and subsequent collection by courier.

The company states that it offers 24/7 support, free UK-wide delivery and discounts for multi-day hires. Its website allows you to request an instant quote and book online.
