How it works and getting a quote

The company offers two ways to start a project. The first is an instant online quote tool that lets you configure a system and get an estimated price; once accepted, the customer submits their details and the team gets in touch. The second option is to speak directly with the team so they can design a tailored solution. In both cases, a free property survey can be carried out, either via an app or with a surveyor visit. Installation is scheduled on a date that suits the customer.

Accreditations and guarantees

Spectra Solar is an MCS accredited installer, which ensures that systems are designed and installed to industry standards and are eligible for export tariffs where applicable. The company is also a HIES member and is approved by Which? Trusted Traders. It offers insurance-backed warranty, guaranteed lowest prices, professional installation, 0% VAT on renewables and no deposits or upfront costs. The website states that it has a rating of 4.9 out of 5 based on 153 reviews.
