Eckman, garden and home tools with own brand

Eckman is a British online store specialising in tools and equipment for the garden, outdoor and home. Its catalogue combines own-brand products —presented under the Freedom Range names, in 40V and 20V versions— with a selection of maintenance, cleaning and home comfort items. The company operates from the UK and sells through its own website.

Garden catalogue: from pruning to watering

The garden tools section is the most developed part of the site. It includes weed cleaners, chainsaws and loppers, cordless power tools, strimmers and brush cutters, scarifiers and aerators, leaf blowers and vacuums with shredding function, lawnmowers, hedge trimmers and garden hand tools such as cultivators and tillers. It is completed with batteries and accessories for cordless tools.

Within garden equipment are storage, security, pressure washers and sprayers, pond care, pest repellers, hoses and accessories, and products for grow your own, lawn care and weed control, as well as cleaning items.

Outdoor living and home equipment

The outdoor section covers wildlife, vehicles, outdoor lighting, garden decor, furniture and entertainment. In the home area, the store offers DIY, cleaning and hygiene, clothing and accessories, decor, gifts, heaters and fans, indoor pest control, kitchen and personal health products.

Featured products and own tools

Among the items the website highlights are the Victorian-style garden arches, presented as decorative elements to transform the garden; the Eckman leaf blower, vacuum and shredder, aimed at avoiding bending down and collecting leaves by hand; the Hydrojet, described as a cordless high-pressure cleaner for dirt, grime and winter mess; and the Eckhose expanding garden hose, which according to the company expands up to three times its original length when the water is turned on and returns to its original size when turned off.

The Eckman telescopic hedge trimmer is presented with a reach extension of up to 2.8 metres, a weight of 3.8 kg, cutting capacity for stems up to half an inch, 45 cm precision blade, 10 metre cable, double safety switch, low vibration and padded shoulder strap. The company states that it is manufactured in accordance with European safety standards.

Editorial content and advice

The site maintains an ideas and advice section with practical guides on hedge maintenance, preparing flower beds, spray painting and lawn care, among other topics. This section supports sales and reinforces the store's positioning in the field of garden care.

Purchase, delivery and service

The store offers secure ordering, telephone assistance to place orders 24/7 and express delivery available for orders placed before 1pm with next day delivery. The company sells in pounds sterling and has a customer account, shopping basket and a newsletter subscription programme with 10% off the next purchase.
