The Lighthouse Shrewsbury is an independent lighting shop based in the town of Shrewsbury, in the county of Shropshire (United Kingdom). The business, which presents itself as a second-generation family company, has been operating since 1975 and combines a two-floor physical showroom with an online store. Its catalogue covers both modern and traditional designs.

• Outdoor lighting: exterior wall lights, exterior ceiling lights and post lamps.

Brands and featured products

The shop presents itself as an official stockist of Laura Ashley and David Hunt Lighting, as well as working with Dar Lighting. The catalogue includes, among others, the Laura Ashley Harrington 3 Light ceiling lantern, the Vienna 3 Light semi-flush light — described as the brand's best seller — and the Sorrento range, available in various colours and sizes. David Hunt Lighting is presented as a manufacturer of bespoke lighting handmade in the Cotswolds.

Showroom and customer service

The shop has a recently refurbished two-floor showroom, which the company describes as one of the largest lighting displays in the West Midlands. It serves both retail and trade customers and offers advice on choosing lighting for projects. The company states that it buys directly from British lighting manufacturers and maintains a competitive pricing policy, with a price match promise and free delivery on orders over £99.

Online sales and promotions

In addition to the physical shop, the business has an online store with an extensive catalogue — the lighting section shows more than 1,300 products — which includes LED bulbs in 5 and 10 packs, with various caps (G4, G9, B22, E14, E27), wattages, colour temperatures and finishes. The site advertised a flash sale promotion with an extra 5% off orders over £500, applicable with a code and valid until midnight on 4 October 2026.
