Redgate Lodge

At Redgate Lodge, selling a vehicle is part of a business that also includes maintenance, bodywork, and car care. The group’s used car showroom is in Shiremoor, in the Newcastle upon Tyne area, and it serves northeastern England, with customers from Newcastle, Durham, Sunderland, and Gateshead. Its selection combines premium and performance cars with family vehicles, SUVs, and compact cars for everyday use. Different needs therefore appear within the same offering, rather than limiting the dealership to one brand or one type of driver.

Advertised manufacturers include BMW, Audi, Mercedes-Benz, Volkswagen, and Ford. The vehicle search allows filtering by make and model and distinguishes the purchase price from a monthly payment. This organizes a selection that changes as cars arrive and sell. Redgate Lodge offers financing options as a credit broker, not a lender, through selected providers; approval is subject to the terms of the transaction. Purchasing a car, obtaining a vehicle valuation, and using the group’s services are related activities, but each follows a different process.

The group has its own preparation center for vehicles before sale. After purchase, Bosch Car Service – Redgate Lodge handles maintenance and repairs. Its offering includes brakes, timing belts, air conditioning, exhaust systems, tires, wheel alignment, and electrical diagnostics, along with safety checks and attention to dashboard warning lights. It also provides MOT inspections, the British vehicle inspection. This combination allows a customer’s relationship with the company to continue through workshop services beyond the initial car purchase.

Electric vehicles have a distinct presence through Redgate EV Hub and maintenance services that include battery health checks. Bodywork is another branch: Redgate Lodge Bodyshop handles accident repairs and exterior bodywork. The Car Spa focuses on professional vehicle cleaning and detailing. These services have different roles within the group, from addressing a breakdown or repairing collision damage to preparing and maintaining a car’s appearance.

The main dealership is on New York Road, Shiremoor, NE27 0ER. The published address for Redgate Lodge Bodyshop is Unit 7E, Westmorland Road, North Shields, NE29 8TB. That second location is the body shop and should be distinguished from the vehicle showroom. The company also offers additional protection products, including a two-year extended warranty, service plans, and protection for paint, tires, and alloy wheels. These are options in its catalog; they are not all automatically included with every purchase.

The group complements its services with content about cars and dealership operations. Its Honest Cars NE channel features videos and vehicle reviews, while its team, company history, and recorded customer opinion sections show other aspects of the business. For someone seeking a used car in the Newcastle area, Redgate Lodge brings together vehicle selection and several services after purchase. Its offering’s clearest feature is that continuity between sales, preparation, maintenance, and care, with identified departments for each vehicle need.
