The Shed Factory

The Shed Factory: heavy-duty garden sheds made in Kent

The Shed Factory is a British manufacturer specialising in heavy-duty garden sheds and other outbuildings. The company makes its structures by hand and to order in Kent, pressure-treats them and installs them using its own team. Its catalogue is organised into several product families: sheds, log stores, summerhouses, garages, bespoke builds and bases for spaces.

Shed and building catalogue

The shed range includes models with their own names, such as The Snipe, The Bullfinch (also in a side-door version and with a reverse roof), The Security Shed, The Bicycle Shed, The Fieldfare and The Woodpecker. Apex and pent sheds are offered, designed for gardens of different sizes and budgets, and with uses ranging from storage to a home workshop.

Alongside its sheds, the manufacturer sells summerhouses and chalets, garages, log stores and bespoke builds. The company describes each piece as a building made to measure for the customer's garden.

Direct sales from the factory and advice

The Shed Factory sells directly from its factory, with no middlemen, and offers expert advice on sheds and installation. It has a show site with different ranges of sheds and garden rooms so that customers can assess sizes and specifications before deciding. The company says its sales team guides those who are still unsure which model they need.

Delivery and installation

The service includes installation and delivery, with free delivery in certain areas. The company presents its offer as low-cost with high-quality buildings, and stresses that the product goes directly from the factory to the customer's home.

Location and activity

The company operates from Sevenoaks, in the English county of Kent, where it has its factory and show site. Its activity focuses on the British market, with prices shown in pounds sterling and the option to view them in other currencies.
